Enhancing knowledge, skills and impact
The core of Education Hub is our community health worker (CHW) training program. We are proud to be a Texas Department of State Health Services approved CHW training site for both CHW and CHW instructor certification programs.
With industry leading subject matter experts in education, wellness and research, our goal is to expand our curriculum portfolio to include diabetes education, nutrition education and courses focused on management of chronic conditions and overall wellness.
Community Health Worker
Training Program
Community health workers are a crucial and supportive link between health and social services and the communities they serve. Both our CHW and CHW Instructor certification programs are 160-hour competency-based training programs that covers the Texas eight core competencies, each composed of 20 content hours.
